I was born and raised in a small town called Rushville in western Nebraska. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (go Huskers!) and went on to complete my Master’s in Social Work and Clinical Mental Health at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Today, I’m a Mental Health Practitioner and Clinical Social Worker. I’ve always been passionate about helping others and find great fulfillment in supporting people as they grow into the best version of themselves.
When I’m not in the office, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family and friends. I love pretty much any sport—whether I’m watching or playing. I’m a big outdoors person and love taking trips to Colorado to hike and snowboard. I’m also an animal lover at heart and would adopt every stray dog and cat if I could.
I’m always trying to become a better cook and keep my plants alive (still a work in progress on that one!).
I really value building a strong therapeutic relationship; it’s such an important part of beginning your healing journey. If you’re wondering whether I might be the right fit for you, don’t hesitate to reach out. I offer free 10-minute consultations so we can connect and see if I’m the right therapist for your needs.
